Well …

 

Cats have 9 lives naturally … so between the two of them, that’s 18, if you count the one cat from the future as a separate cat.  And it’s possible that the from the future has seen some troubles so he’s been knocked down to 4 lives left.  So, between them, you have 13 lives.  Paradox.
