Kristin,

If you are wanting to correlate to national standards, check out the work Brian Mayer and I have been doing with library standards (and others) and gaming. http://sls.gvboces.org/gaming and the alignment document at http://sls.gvboces.org/gaming/sites/sls.gvboces.org.gaming/files/Story%20Documents/aaslgamealignment(sheets).pdf

We also published a book recently - http://www.alastore.ala.org/detail.aspx?ID=2770 - that looks at all types of standards and learning with board games.

Any science teachers on this list?

We are about to print a new Sell Sheet for the updated edition of EcoFluxx, and I pulled some text from our web site that Carol wrote for us 4 years ago...

I need confirmation that these standards have not changed in the last 4 years, or is the word "Correlation" fuzzy enough that I can say this regardless?  My sister tells me that  "Correlation" is a wiggle word...

Here is what I have put on the Sell Sheet:

=============================================
Key Selling Point

* Correlation with National Science
Standards for Interdependence of
Organisms: Life Science Content
Standard, Grades 5-8, 9-12.

and in the yellow star burst

"Correlation with National Science Standards!"
=============================================

you can see the current draft of the sell sheet here:

Can anyone confirm that it is ok to say this stuff about EcoFluxx?
