Ummm... OK, far be it from me to be opposed to flavor text ("a story"), but I can't figure out what the point of the puzzle is, for all the fiction and verbiage.
Can you summarize the pointing rules and goal of the puzzle? Maybe just a "Summary" or "Rules and Goal" sub-section off the main "III. Ice Farm" section? I'm curious... but I can't see the forest for all the trees.
