Representatives approved a pair of bills Tuesday that grant marriage-style 
benefits to same-sex couples and bar discrimination because of sexual 
orientation. 

"Both bills now move to the Senate, where they are expected 
to pass easily and then get signed into law by Gov. Ted 
Kulongoski."
