I've been caching since 2003.  I typically leave altoids tins and polyhedra behind, but I've been thinking of turning a few Icehouse pyramids loose, too.  Promo cards are a good idea too, though I prefer my trinkets to be waterproof.

P.S.: Josh, if you're reading this, have you thought of using www.frappr.com to help organize Rabbits?
