Wonderful Teachers -

I just put up low-rez PDFs of the quick and dirty EDU brochure that Carol threw together the week before Origins.

The audience was teachers attending our Origins teacher seminar.

I'm not sure yet if I'm going to manage to print a colorful EDU brochure still this fall, but I'm thinking about it... and before we could do it, we will need to decide what needs to go in it... so I thought I would throw these two pdf files at you guys and at least start the conversation going...

The audience on the new brochure will be different than the audience Carol made this first cut for... so many things may want to be different...

The audience for the first EDU brochure I print is first and foremost going to be store owners - store owners who want to be able to promote what is educational about the games they sell. It is also likely to be the only EDU related brochure I print for a while, so the audience is also certainly teachers... we will send this out far and wide to promote the fact that Looney Labs games are rockin awesomely educational.

So it wants very much to be pitched at educators - but we need to remember we are distributing it through store owners. So - for example - the back cover section about the benefits of signing up as a Teacher Rabbit needs to be rethought... since although one of the best benefits is in fact the fact that we will give teachers a 30% discount when ordering directly from us, this is the LAST thing we want to put on a brochure that we are giving to stores whom we want to sell these same games to teachers.

Please take a look at the content of this first brochure Carol threw together - what works, what doesn't, what do you want to see instead. Teacher Rabbits who are also Retailer Rabbits - what would help you both decide to sell these games (if you had never heard of them) and help you to do the actual selling, assuming we would provide copies of this brochure for store owners to give out along with our regular tri-fold catalog.

We have not actually put this on Carol's to-do list yet... but if we decide that we can in fact print something still this fall, she will be able to look quickly to this list for ideas - and you will already be thinking/talking about it! :)

Thank you for helping me figure out how to promote the EDU aspect of our games!

-Kristin (of the Looney variety)
