hello all, i'm very sorry about the spam. it was late at night and i did
not read clearly what was going to happen when the page said "now want to
see how your friends did on the test?". i said sure (thinking they were
going to check my friends list against their member list), and the website
then proceeded to spam *everyone* in my contact manager, all 400+ of them,
including this list.
it was unintentional, and i apologize. it will not happen again.
hope you all had a good holiday,
--nancy
No need for apologies, it's that website that's behaving badly. My main
concern was the possibility of a virus, because no one needs to spend this
time of year cleaning their machine. ^_^ What's a little scary is how a
click of a button on a webpage can access your contact list--you mght want
to make sure your OS and email software updates are current, because that
sounds like a security hole.
