Subject: [Icehouse] Origami pyramids

These look more complicated than the origami pyramids I've seen online before. Are they stackable?

Yes.

My non-origami paper pyramids are much simpler to build but more difficult to cut out. Have you tried my design yet? They don't require any tape or glue to keep them together.

I haven't tried yours exactly, but I'm familiar with similar designs.

One cool thing about the real origami ones made from standard photocopy/printer paper is that they have enough bulk to them to stack with proportions pretty darn close to the commercial plastic pyramids. For isntance, three stacked smalls are about the height of one large.

And of course *origami* pieces don't need tape or glue either.

BUT... there is no denying that your design is CONSIDERABLY easier to construct, and that advantage certainly shouldn't be disregarded.
