You say that like it's a new idea. This wiki has been described as
"in the
works" for a long time. Has nobody made any progress on it? :(
From looking through the archives, it looks like Joseph Peterson was
working on one a while ago, but from the sounds of it had some
trouble with the software and was trying to do a fairly ambitious
design to integrate the wiki with the look & feel of the Looney Labs
web site. It sounds like that also didn't work out because it took
too much of the Looneys' time, which was in short supply. A couple
months ago, Kristin asked if anyone could run a rabbit wiki pretty
much on their own, and some ideas were thrown around, but no one
stepped up to the plate (as far as I know).
I didn't at the time because I was already starting to over-commit
myself with some web design and hosting work for another group, and I
figured I shouldn't take up too much of my free time. I thought
someone else would probably step up, and I could help out. It looks
like no one else has found the time, I have less work to do on the
other site than I thought, and it's really looking like we need this
wiki, so I figured now would be a good time to offer.
