I was selling "Of Dice and Pen" at the booth I was running. It has three of Andy's stories in it, and many people were disappointed and surprised that he was not there. They wanted him to sign it.

I feel that it is also worth noting that almost on a constant basis when I was helping run LL stuff that people were asking where the Looneys were and sharing their disappointment that they were not in attendance.  Certainly not a knock on the Looneys as people understood their circumstances but it just goes to show how well loved they are at Gencon!

Hello all,

I just wanted to give the final report from all of the going ons of GenCon...

Things that rocked:

1.) The Mad Lab Rabbits that came and spent some of their time helping run events really did an amazing job and totally promoted LL. Marissa basically rocked for three straight days demoing and playing Treehouse, Fluxx, Martian Coasters and whatever else she had on hand. Sam did a great job showing off "Speed Zendo." They were assisted by Steven, Douglas and John. Are You a Werewolf? was an complete success. We were not in the program, we could not have sign, yet we filled the area we were assigned. It should come to no surprise that Jared ran AYAW? with his usual level of energy, intelligence and that certain "Je Ne Sais Pas" that he brings every time he runs Werewolf. Sam, Kat and several other brought their A game and really did an amazing job modding Werewolf.

2.) Ticket counts: As mentioned before, despite that fact we had zero advertising in the program and were not allowed to have signs, we had a great attendance to all of our events. I once again have to thank the Rabbits at GenCon who helped spread the word about the events and got butts in the seats. I have not seen the final numbers as there were several event tickets sold that were no shows. The rough figures showed that all of the GMs were paid in full. WOW!

3.) Derek from GenCon Events was extremely helpful in getting us set up and allowing us to have space inside the ICC.
