I have blank dice. and decimal dice and fraction dice and math operation dice and body part dice and dice with-in dice...... The guy at the hobby store tries to hide the dice bucket when I comoe in. I go through his 'misc dice bucket' and sort them....
The blank dice are a good ide, but not for my boys. they love mathing up the number on the roll (the reason I added dice to the game was their obsession with rolling and having different numbers represent different choices)
But, good idea..

I've seen blank dice at most teacher supply stores, but if you need an online source:

Dicepool has blank d6, d8, d10 and d12's for sale.

You could probably get a blank die and paint the faces to color code your rolls, too. (i.e. paint three faces green for character, one pinkish-orange for problem, one yellow for resolution, and one purple for action) Blank dice are usually larger than standard, too, and in my experience kids like bigger dice. :)
