I've done the same thing in my Spanish classroom by making them discuss, accuse, and defend themselves in Spanish.  All the cards are then labeled hombre lobo, vidente, vecino, ángel, etc.  While I found it to be a little above the skill level of my Spanish 1 students, my Spanish 2 students were somewhat able to play the game.

I also have used the game in English on those weird days where it's a half day and the majority of kids stay home etc.

I have yet to play it with my after school game club.  The after school club is primarily a Go club with a little Looney Labs mixed in for between games.
