Instants not only violate the "Play X" rules, they can easily confuse new
players

Wow, thanks for the input. I never even thought about most of the points you
brought up. the one that made up my mind is listed above. I also use fluxx
as a social tool, and I can see where instant cards would confuse new
players. I also see where "play x" is violated. I have decided against
putting any fast effect cards in my deck.
