I highly recommend Instant-Runoff Voting
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant-runoff_voting) for being both fair
and, well, instantaneous, as well as very easy to use from a end-user
perspective.
I prefer any kind of Condorcet method over IRV.
Read the example to see how the two differ in practice:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IRV#Example
Condorcet is no more-difficult for voters than IRV, only slightly harder
on the vote-counters, is easier for determining runners up, and produces,
I think, a better evaluation of over-all acceptableness (IRV is more
likely to get you a game half the voters hate and half the voters love;
condorcet is more likely to get you a game that everyone at least likes).
There's just that nasty annoying Condorcet paradox that you have to come
up with some kind of tie-breaker for.
