Jason, thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed Virus Fight. About the rules, I've done my best to write them in a clear and concise manner. The game is quite simple to explain, but some of the concepts behind require careful explanation so there are no misunderstandings. This together with the fact that English is not my first language may have resulted in overcomplicated rules. Any suggestions on how to make them better are welcomed (better by private email I'd think).
About the usage of the word "instruction" instead of "pyramid", I find it's usually hard to convey a sense of theme in games that are played using generic game systems (such as Icehouse or piecepack). That's why I like to first define the pieces in the context of the game and then refer to them by their in-game names. Even though this game is quite abstract, it was created "theme first", and the mechanics would stop making sense if the theme was lost...
Cheeers,
-Jorge
