Well, better late than never. This rabbit report coming to you from the Guy in the Red Die Hat.... As the rabbits recouperate and get ready for GenCon, I'm thinking and getting ideas to share with all while there. However, this is a report about Origins. I did not get much chance to participate in tournaments. I was wwaaaaaaaaaaay too busy running demos this year to even try. My goal was to give away as many sickers as possible. Well, I succeeded. I gave away 3 sheets worth of stickers (18/sheet) and they were NOT, I repeat NOT Fluxx stickers. When I saw a person that was needing entertained, I looked and found a game that they didn't have a sticker for and pulled it out of my handy-dandy expiriment-in-a-bag. (Every good rabbit should get one when they come available.) Although I was a Palm Tree, I was so busy running other games I didn't give away all my cards. I think I gave away about 10. However, I did end up giving away my fruit and pine trees twice each - since other palms were busy handing theirs out. Each day Thurs-Sat I was schedualed for 4 hours. However as it got late, I felt the need for rabbits each night. So, I ended up arriving at my 8pm event at least 2 hours late each night. (Stupid Vampire LARP taking away from my lab time.) Anyway, I LOVED running games until the last possible moment. Thanks Andy and the Looney team for great inventions! Thanks Origins for giving me volunteer credits for time in the Looney Lab as a rabbit! (Paid for my hotel that way!) Lastly, thanks Top Rabbits for sending people my way so I could stay so I'd get to use my expiriment-in-a-bag. (I don't get much use of it outside of cons.) Well, I will see the Looney team at GenCon. I think that I'll spend more time in the room there.
