I read the article. The key phrase is : " Now, for the first time in nearly a century, manufacturers and retailers may agree on a retail price,..." And the word "MAY" is the biggest part of that. Also this article is talking about the LOWEST price a reseller can sell for, not the highest. So..... If they want to sell FF for $14.00m it's their prerogative. -Bob -----Original Message----- From: rabbits-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:rabbits-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tucker Sent: Monday, October 08, 2007 8:29 AM To: Rabbits Discussion List Subject: Re: [Rabbits] Family Fluxx is the Game of the Day > The S of MSRP is "suggested." Not anymore. http://blog.oregonlive.com/oregonianopinion/2007/07/the_supreme_court_blockb uster.html (or google "supreme court" msrp) "Now, for the first time in nearly a century, manufacturers and retailers may agree on a retail price." It's unlikely to be an issue with smaller companies, but my interpretation of this for larger manufacturers is that this "agreement" consists of "sell at this price or we take our product elsewhere." -- It is in the nature of poets to misuse their sources. --John M.
