Hello All,

I had some ideas for more classroom themed Fluxx variants and thought I would put them out here.  They both need work, one more so than the other, but they are a start, I'm hoping to solicit some help.

First, Math/Geometry Fluxx:

Keepers:

Square

Circle

Triangle

[]^3(cubed)

Goals:              Keepers required:

Cylinder            Square, Circle

Cone                Triangle, Circle

Pyramid            Square, Triangle

Sphere             Circle, []^3

Cube                Square, []^3

Tetrahedron       Triangle, []^3

I would like to expand this one more, adding elements to include more formulas, i.e. representations of the sides and angles as keepers and maybe having things like sine, cosine and tangent as goals, also maybe allowing for Pythagoras's theorem as a goal.  I had thought of having two of each of the shapes, and combining them to get the sphere, cube and tetrahedron, but I thought that it could very easily allow two people to win at the same time. (two people have a circle and triangle and the cone comes into play).

Next, the one I need more help with, Simple Machines Fluxx:

Keepers:

Lever

Pulley

Wheel and Axle

Wedge

Inclined Plane

Screw

Goals:              Keepers required:

Wheelbarrow     Lever, Wheel and Axle

Axe                  Lever, Wedge

Jack (screw)     Lever, Screw

Crane               Lever, Pulley

As you can see, I need more complex machines for goals.

In any case, after seeing the Music Fluxx deck, I thought some other topic specific decks could be formulated to help in the classroom.
