So it's basically a missing link, but nothing more (i.e. pair -> triplet; triplet -> 4ofk; flush/straight/strfl finisher; 2pr -> full house)... but nobody's going to jump from a pair to a 4ofk if their pair happened to be the wild card. So basically everyone can count on one wild and therefore only need a "close enough" hand, but they have to be luckier than Thom in order to cash in. Sounds fun to me -- I used to play 7card no peek (on dealer's choice nights) where a turned 7 kills your hand. It didn't pick on the same guy every time though. -Ankhst > X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 3.1.0 (2005-09-13) on lists.looneylabs.com > X-Spam-Level: > X-Spam-Status: No, score=0.0 required=5.0 tests=AWL autolearn=disabled version=3.1.0 > X-Original-To: fluxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Delivered-To: fluxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > From: "Bob Winans" <rwinans@xxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "'S Mattison'" <s.mattison@xxxxxxxxx>, "'Fluxx Discussion List'" <fluxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: RE: [Fluxx] Larry the Creeper > Date: Mon, 10 Dec 2007 13:00:06 -0500 > Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit > X-Virus-Scanned: Symantec AntiVirus Scan Engine > Cc: > X-Barracuda-Bayes: INNOCENT GLOBAL 0.5000 1.0000 0.7500 > X-Barracuda-Spam-Report: Code version 3.1, rules version 3.1.36244 Rule breakdown below pts rule name description ---- ---------------------- -------------------------------------------------- > > No. > Everyone can use that card as a wild card. > It only kills your hand if you have a matching card in your hand. > > I.E. the last card is a 2 of hearts. > It is wild for everyone.
