actually we have already thought of that... Andy has been calling it Smallcano
we have not yet worked out an end condition we are happy with, you are correct in your thinking that it needs some adjustment. we tried a fascinating few games where we said you could do a first move that didn't score, followed by one that did - which let you set things up for yourself on your turn. crazy. we've been too busy to playtest it more...
