Hi, Jason.
It has been expressly ruled in the past that "publishing" to the Wiki does
not rule a game design out of the IGDC. Might even be on the Talk pages
somewhere!
I can't imagine that listing on BGG will invalidate, either, but perhaps we
should get a ruling from the new Coordinator . . . ?

Subject: [Icehouse] IGDC - Question
Regarding the IGDC, the wiki page says "Each designer may submit one
previously unpublished game ..."
I wanted to ask exactly what "previously unpublished game" means.
I designed a game recently and have not published rules anywhere, but
I would like to create a page on the wiki, get more testing in from
friends, blind test the rules with playtesters, etc. Possibly even
submit the game to BGG. If I do all that now, will that invalidate the
game for being entered into the contest?
Thanks,
Jason
