Title: An InFluxx of Insanity
Location: UBCon, Buffalo, NY
Date: April 13-15, 2007

As my first of two Looney Labs events at UBCon, I ran a game of Fluxx. I combined my copies of Fluxx (2.x and 3.x), EcoFluxx, Family Fluxx, and Stoner Fluxx into one huge deck. 4 players showed up for the event. 3 had played at least one version of Fluxx before.

Having placed Keeper equivalent up on the blackboard (Sun = Sunshine, mice = mouse, Andy Looney = Brain and A Friend [why not?], etc), it only took a quick explanation before we got started.

The first game lasted an hour, with a variety of goals and keepers making it onto the table. The second game lasted a while, as people tried to re-create the "auto win" combination from last year (Play all, Composting, Empty the Trash, Jackpot. He was able to keep pulling Jackpot back into his hand, so he was able to keep drawing until he had a goal and its keepers in his hand to play). Afterwards, 2 of the players left, but the others asked for a third game.

Fun was had by all.
