I have Asperger's and have difficulty understanding the opposition some have to the puzzle pieces. Nobody ever said we ARE puzzle pieces. I've heard the purpose of the puzzle pieces is that figuring out what ASD is all about is a puzzle, a mystery (and to me, "neurotypicals" can be quite a mystery or puzzle ;-))... so anyway, I like the symbol.

Isn't Rainbow Treehouse *already* the "Autism Awareness Ribbon" set? At
least, for the colors... not sure how to get the puzzle pieces as a part of
it.

:)

Cheers

Most autistic people don't tend to like being referred to as puzzle pieces but don't mind any confusion between rainbow=gay pride and rainbow=neurodiversity, so the nice interlocking triangles will do fine thank you very much!

I'm quite sure Carol wasn't calling people with autism "puzzle
pieces" but was instead referring to the Autism Awareness Ribbon:
