What bothers me the most in Sci Fi is when they refer to star systems,
other than ours as "Solar Systems". No - the "solar" system is the
system orbiting the start "sol". Of course we usually just call it the
"sun" :)
Many languages DO call the Earth Terra, though. French for one. :)

scientific name for the moon. Everybody knows that!
