Oh, thanks! I actually was thinking of that, but I didn't know what
they were called, so I just looked up Jewish musicians. Now that I
have the proper word, I'll redo the card.

You think "Torah/Music" and the first thing that comes to mind
is "Barry Manilow"? No disrespect to Mr. Manilow, he may write
the songs that make the young girls cry, but his music isn't
really "Torah Music".

A name for this goal that I think fits in more with the spirit
of the expansion would be "Zmiros" (zmirot, z'mirot, ??????).

Zmiros are the songs that typically sung after festive meals or
services. They are not prayers, though they are sometimes based
on prayers. They are also based on legends, history, devotion,
joy, scholarship, patriotism, pride, thankfulness, the Sabbath,
hope, friendship, family, mysticism, remembrance, or general
Judaic themes like the idea that all things are connected to
heaven, even a little goat. Some of them are modern, some are
old, and some of them are ancient.

Zmiros don't get a lot of notice, even among many Jews, but they
are a vital part of Jewish culture.
