I'm a new participate to this list, so I didn't have much information
on the contest either.

Does the competition get much press on BGG?

I found the webpage for the contest:

I see that the deadline is tomorrow, so I won't be able to get any
games in before that. (I could try a few on Wed-Friday. That isn't a
request to extend the deadline for just me. I just hope to be able to
participate in judging for the next contest.)

I'm a little confused as to how these contests work. Is there a panel of
judges, or can anyone submit a ballot? I thought there was some "list"
somewhere of people who were supposed to judge the games, but apparently
not. What's going on here, about these contests? Maybe I could participate
if I knew what it was, and I bet other people feel the same way. It feels
exclusive, whether or not it is.
