Avri, I respect your opinion about the new box and you (and every other designer) are free to use it or not. As a sidenote, the new box is only intended for contests where we all agree there weren't enough votes.
But about the ugliness which you say made David leave I have to disagree. The ugliness pretty much came only from him . He's the only one that resorted to personal insults and name calling in the discussion, writting in an inflammatory tone. I admit I kept on replying and maybe I should have just stopped, but that's how I am. I like discussing, but I keep it civil even though he really made an effort to provoke me. Basically I'm guilty of keeping on with the poll against his wishes...
I'm sorry things got out of hand (first on the list, now on the wiki). I hope we don't have to go through this again.
