I assume David meant the Geeks mailing list: http://lists.looneylabs.com/mailman/listinfo/geeks Its purpose is to redirect discussion when it gets sufficiently geeky and high-traffic that it threatens to overtake other discussion on one of the lists such as this one. I'm not sure the request for a redirect was called for (it's one thread, which is entirely geeky, so we can just ignore the one thread as long as people preserve threading), but it wasn't ignorant.
