My Dad asked for a page a day calendar of recipes this year. Apparently nothing exists -- the Joy of Cooking and Campbells soup both have something close, but they're both boring and one doesn't actually have recipes every day. So. I am asking for recipes from you. I am going to make this calendar, by printing them on index cards, binding the cards together, and dropping them on a little tiny easel I found at the dollar store. (Two, actually -- index cards can be kinda thick.) I have easily 100 recipes to share with him myself, but I need a TON more, and the Googles, they only do so much. Even with reviews on sites, it's hard to say what's good and what's not. Recipes for anything -- healthy, light, rich or sinful -- are welcome. He loves seafood, and good wine, and garlic; he has just about everything you could ask for, from an indoor grill that fits onto our stove to a food processor to a crock pot and so on. When I'm done, I'll post the file with all the recipes in it, a kind of knitmeapony cookbook, hehe, free for y'all to download. And, because it wouldn't be from me if it wasn't short notice, the party's on Saturday. So if you get a chance to shoot me one today (off-list, of course) that'd be awesome.
