Re: [Something] And the new Harry Potter book is called...

I am doing the same thing for new TV shows -- even in the DVR/PVR Age,
I don't have time to pick up every show that looks watchable, and once
I make time, I'd much rather go on a DVD binge than have to keep a close
eye on the DVR buffer... I spoiled my wife the same way when I introduced
her to BTVS (she too was caught up in how bad the Buffy movie was, and
didn't know how much better the TV series was than that movie); she got
to watch the first 3 seasons on VHS and then had to wait for the season
4 premiere like everyone else ;-)

We got binge-burned again when we finished BG 2.0 just before season 2.5
was released... luckily we only had about a week of withdrawals...

I lost my momentum after Azkaban as far as the HP books are concerned; I
did enjoy what I'd read of Goblet when I got started, but then we had to
move, and a bunch of other stuff happened, and I barely have time to read
any Spider Robinson, let alone HP.

More things to defer until retirement.
