Not sure if you've tried this, but someone once shared a tip with me that said if I was ever learning from a left-hander or trying to teach a left-hander, to sit across from them.  As we watch each other we invoke our "looking in a mirror" skills to watch what the other person is doing.  It's supposed to make teaching/learning much easier if parties are opposite-hand-dominant.

Throw.  Never heard of picking.  Hmmm... gonna have to bring needles and yarn to Origins now, for sure... if you're willing to teach some knitting in Rabbit Crafts then Timothy?? (hint...hint...)

I'm also left-handed, which confounds some people (like my own mother) who have tried to teach me.

Carol,

Do you throw (working yarn in right hand and move your hand/fingers
around the needle to form the next loop, also called American or
English style) or pick (working yarn in left hand and needle grabs the
yarn to make the next loop, also called European style)?
