Magi- Survival Fluxx sounds neat!!     -Kimberly

Hi, Ryan.

I'm a homeschool teacher (in Ohio).  I just teach my 3 boys. They have varying degrees of autism spectrum disorders and the older two would be classified gifted in the school sysytem. I like homeschooling them so they don't have figure out where they fit-- Sped Ed.. gifted.. etc.. I lke that they are just them and not a 'spec ed kid.(the school systems here don't let gifted kids in the program if they have any 'spec ed' needs and they don't even recognize dyslexia as a LD)

Fluxx has helped my youngest (10) a lot . He has dyspraxia and conserquently trouble with crossing midline- he almost never plays games that are more than 2 player. he gets confused with who's turn and when and following what's going on, etc. He will play Fluxx or Pyrmaid games with more than 2 players. he won't play much of anything else though. But it is a good start.

We mostly use Eco Fluxx, NanoFictionary (which has been a great way to get Language Arts in without having too much dyslexia complications) and Chrononauts. I get the Pyrmaid games out for fun logic puzzles.
