My thoughts: Cloth sheets, 1/2" PVC frames, + a couple of handfulls of curtain clamps. We have these hooks that are about a 1" circle with a squeze-release clamp at the end that holds up our curtains. Should be easily picked up/moved without wrinkleing, easily stored, transported, & assembled, fairly cheap & easy to construct.
I had a thought to do something like that for uber giant pyramids (~5' tall, 32 times normal size). I envision games of icehouse being played on football fields by teams of at least two (to carry them) and maybe a third on a walkie-talkie to direct their actions from a better viewpoint. But they'd probably blow away. So then I thought plywood, but that's prohibitively expensive. (You'd need two 4' x 8' sheets for each large 'mid.) Maybe for con displays, but too costly (for me) to justify even making a single stash. -- - |) () /\/ Also, rather than shower curtain hooks, I'd recommend grommets and twine for cloth boards. And probably wooden dowels instead of PVC. PVC is too flexible at that size.
