We almost always use only 4. I'm no expert at Zendo, nor are the people I game with. We like it, but only when after a 3-4 times around the table, we've figured out the Buddha nature. If everyone is stumped, then either we're over thinking it, or the Master made a rule that was too complicated. 4 colors is a nice number that allows variety without over complicating things. -Jason On Fri, Mar 21, 2008 at 10:50 AM, Benjamin Kleber <benjamin.kleber@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I've played Zendo with a good assortment of different groups, players > of different experience levels - ranging from my 7-year-old nephew to > one time with Cory and 'da gang - and we've done everything from 2 > colors to all 11, with various mixes of transparent and opaque and all > other aspects to get picky about. > > How many colors do you prefer to use?
