cool! I'm glad it's working out so well! I'd love to have your write up a testimonial on how well this works for your school - and how it meets the needs of your children. I'm not asking for a lot of work - just a paragraph or two, and permission to post it so that other teachers can get inspiration from your hard work! thanks! You rock as a teacher! Conno and Ki have very mild autism and are very, very strict with the lettter oof the law... so if the composting card says "it's ok to look at the bottom card first" They will insist we do EXACTLY as the rule says... which states 'card' as a singular. Actually, I was afraid they would have trouble with the game because of the changing rules, but they really like it. I guess because even though the rules change, but there is always a written new rule. When they were done playing the had to sort and count the different types of cards. I think everyone is happy now, thanks. ~Kimberly On 7/31/06, Carol Townsend <carol@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > There is no rule that you can't look thru the discard pile - but then > again, no rule that specifically says you *can*. > > The standard way I've seen it played is that people can go through the > discard pile whenever they want - as long as they don't mix up the > order of the discard pile.
