Hello to all you Educators out there, I was reading this particular post and, well, the simplest way that I know of the reach the educational market is to reach those who educate the educators. I happen to work at a college, although not as an educator, I happen to be a custodian (they call us Team Cleaning Specialists). I also happen to clean the College of Education on our campus, so I get to know, not only the future educators, but their instructors as well as the administrators for that department. I have, at times, been tempted to pull out some of my Looney Labs games and introduce them to the instructors there, but, unfortunately, never seem to have the time to do it right. (I would also like to get the foreign Fluxx games for the language departments, but I don’t really have the money for that…*sigh*)
However, with the introduction of the lesson plans on the Looney Labs website, I think I’m going to have to make the time. Just going to have to figure out which game and which instructor to focus on first. (I’m thinking pyramids first, just because they look spiffy and Treehouse plays fast.) Any other suggestions? (I don’t yet have Eco Fluxx, so that one’s out for the moment.)
