Does anyone here think it would be useful to have "standard" artwork on the wiki for various pieces, colors, and configurations? I am thinking, basically, of the following: * One each of every color large, medium, and small; from above and from side * Nests in every transparent color; from above and from side * Trees in every color; from above and from side (which would be very similar-looking to nests, from above--maybe distinguish nests by NOT showing pips on the small and medium, but show them in a tree?) This would have the benefit of making it very easy to show a layout of any board on a grid, or to show movement or placement examples, or even to use as clip art to make more complex elements (ex: an RGB tree) which would, of course, be uploaded as unique files (unless we can use DHTML layers in the wiki code--I doubt it). We could also move towards "standardizing" artwork across the wiki--a low priority, but the "professional" thing to do in the long run. It really wouldn't take me very long... but maybe someone who's a professional graphic artist would like the honor? I'd use the TH set photos on LooneyLabs.com for color reference, slightly tweaking colors like blue and purple to improve their "transparency" for applications like the nest. Basically, look at the art in Chicken Run--that's what you'll get, if I do it myself. :P Thoughts? Volunteers? Additional standard art ideas? David
