I left one datum unreported. When I do make these, I'm making half a dozen, maybe a full dozen, at once. It's a small economy of scale, but I anticipate wanting that many on my games shelf eventually, anyway.
A full dozen? Do you anticipate having that many players? I don't think there's a way to connect a dozen together, so you're talking 2x6 (Eeyore) or 3x4 (normal board) or 4x3 (Eeyore). Just seems like overkill (but, hey, knock yourself out!).
I don't suppose there's any hope you'll go back to selling the acrylic ones anytime soon? If you can't or won't, perhaps the volcano board makers could start making them for looney labs?
You should sign the petition to make the next boxed set Martian Chess, using nice Eeyore boards, and including four stashes (or five, but that's 1.4 more than needed) and a booklet with other games that can be played with (any) chess board and up to four (or five) stashes/sets (one opaque, four transparent).
Wait... where did we link that petition? ;)
