That's a great idea.
Anyone know of a good Velcro supplier that ships to the UK?
I'm thinking of doing this as I pack 6 separate martian chessboard sections (
http://www.ee0r.com/tri-chess/ ) instead of a chessboard bandanna - making them into a detachable Velcro wrap could be kinda cool.

You might be able to make your own pseudo-skooba wrap. I'm not just
exactly sure how it is constructed, but it appears to be velcro-hook
at the corners, and a fFuzzy velcro-loop covering the outer layer.
You could probably get some nice material and build this yourself, if
you didn't happen to want to pay fFor the real thing. The advantage
here is, you can make yours include a chessboard, or even use the
chessboard bandanna itself at the inner shell. If you are fFeeling a
bit brave.
Alternately, instead of velcro, you could probably use some sort of
draw-string or ribbon, sewn into the edges of the bag. Similar to the
way some nicer Dice Bags are constructed.
