My apologies. My experience with past games does not make me right and I shouldn't have implied otherwise. Looking at other Fluxx cards, I can see the argument for Hand Limit 0 staying that way under Inflation... it does seem to be one of the only Numeral name cards lacking a numeral in the text.

My experience in every game I've played in since X=X+1 was introduced is that the name is what matters. Whenever X=X+1 was on the table, Hand Limit 0 was played as if it was now Hand Limit 1. The text reflected the "prior to X=X+1 being applied" rule.

Precisely.  Doesn't matter what a card is called.

Yes, but it is the text of the card that really matters.
