Re: [Rabbits] Thoughts on being a Starship Captain

Well it is "The year of the Pyramid" as the Looneys pointed out at Origins.  The pyramids certainly could use the promotion more so than the card games do, Fluxx is a pretty well known commodity at this point and carries it's own cache.  Dedicating promotional energies to the pyramids may very well push them over that tipping point to becoming a truly great seller.

OK... so Starship Captains is for pyramid players.  "Tech" or
"Technician" is for the rest of us.  Got it.

Sorry if I'm just sounding grumpy on this subject... it just feels
like LL will be promoting the pyramids above all else.  The "cool
name" is for the pyramid players.  (I mean, who would rather be just a
tech when you can have a full rank of captain and maybe someday
admiral?).  And yes, I understand that this is all a work in
progress... I'm just sharing what I feel about it - YMMV.

If this is just me, then please ignore this rambling and continue on.
I support LL and all that you're doing to make the world better by
producing great games.

Since it is taking me so long to get a new fan club web site launched and he wanted to share his new ideas for the pyramids side of things...  he put up this page of rambling not yet fully formed ideas to get feedback on what we are working on building...  names are all up for debate and subject to change!
