Seems to me this is a legitimate topic for discussion - how best to add music to a demo - and I'm interested in hearing what everyone else has to say.

The messages all have a clear subject line - just ignore/delete/filter the thread. That's what threaded messaging is all about.

Josh,
I just deleted about 35 e-mails. Is there some way to request Rabbits not to Reply to All, when a question is asked by a specific Rabbit, e.g., the music demo, the tarot discussions.

There is clearly some value in being able to ask a question of a collection of similar interest people, but to have each of those respond to everyone else clogs up e-mail for those who are not interested in the original question. If a general discussion forum is desired for Rabbits, perhaps that could be set up as a separate chat room that you have to actually go to to participate.

Any advice welcome. End of whining.

I tend to prefer instrumental or electronic selections for
    background music
during demo times, as music with vocals can sometimes interfere with
    your
own voice. Selections I like include:

Kaki King (instrumental guitar, often bright, upbeat and fast-moving)
    Massive Attack (some tracks, anyway)
Sound Tribe Sector 9 (electronic, some minimal vocals)
    Thievery Corporation (some tracks)
Boards of Canada (this is a must-listen, if you haven't--incredibly
    talented electronic musicians, no vocals)

I haven't had the internet at home for a while, but when I did I used a
tool called Last.fm to track the music I listened to:

    http://www.last.fm/
    and
    http://www.last.fm/user/joshnumbersbad

if you'd like to see my more general music selections. :)
