Hi Christopher: I think Bob's point is that even though passing out the Zombies could be considered a "single event", in that you finish doing that before anything else happens, the word "instantly" is pretty unequivocal, meaning that as soon as the creeper distributor gives you a card, you immediately give it to someone else. Definitely more of a bounce than a forcefield; if Andy had intended it to act as a creeper barrier, he would have changed the text to something like "you can not receive creepers. Any creeper you would normally get goes to another player of your choice instead". One possibly helpful way to look at it is that every goal is snapshot- dependent. If you can take a snapshot that satisfies the victory conditions, even if someone is in the middle of a turn or the middle of a play, the game is over, and the appropriate player(s) [or zombies] win. So, as long as there was a moment when every player had a creeper in front of them -- even though you were about to give yours away, the snapshot shows the victory conditions and the zombies win. For this to happen, there just needs to be enough creeper cards to get back to you after the player on your left gets one. Does that clarify anything? I'm known to ramble on a bit myself, so possibly I haven't actually said anything new at all. Welcome to the list!
