It took Excite TWO DAYS to give me the "undeliverable mail" notice. Until then, I could only assume my email, like the many I send out without error each week, had made it through okay. Way to SNAFU, Excite Email System. And dang, I picked just the wrong hour to walk away from the computer to do some errands. Well, I guess this is what I get for waiting until the last minute. In the time it took me to get up, call the dentist and the bank, get a bagel, and refresh my inbox, the ballots had been "processed" and the task of determining a winner handed over to the vote-counting gurus. What provisions will we need in future contests to handle SNAFU's like this? ---Ryan --- On Tue 02/19, David Artman < david@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > wrote: From: David Artman [mailto: david@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] To: icehouse@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Tue, 19 Feb 2008 14:47:09 -0700 Subject: RE: [Icehouse] Winter 2008 IGDC Rankings! > From: Dale Sheldon <dales@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>> Darn it.
