The development classifications on the wiki are not informative, since they rarely change. There are several games that have been "in development" on the wiki for five years. We either need to develop guidelines and procedures for graduating games along the development path, or we need to ditch the classifications altogether. After all, every design is always a work in progress. ---Ryan -----Original Message----- From: "David Artman" [david.artman@xxxxxxxxx] Date: 05/17/2010 12:38 PM To: "Icehouse Discussion List" <icehouse@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [Icehouse] 2009 pyramid game awards: who wants to help I also think that games in dev should be excluded. Suppose the winner ended up being further developed until it was significantly different? Im not likely to find more than one opponent, but both of us have tried a fair number of icehouse games, so if there are two-player games, well be happy to try them out and give some feedback. When browsing through the list, I also noticed that games in preliminary development were included. I think those could be dismissed from the start, which would reduce the number of games to judge by a significant amount.
