Before starting, you can directly cross "Accelerator" off. It's something I wouldn't even dare to name "game" in its current state... an idea that didn't work out how I had planned.

I'd like to think I can sign up, but I'm concerned about opponents.
There are a few gamers in my neighborhood, but few who have even played
Treehouse, and no real group to speak of. On the other hand, there are
a couple of groups gathering this weekend, so I should be able to sneak
in a few new games.

Eric,

Thanks for your desire to help. Don't let the lack of opponents stop
you: it is quite possible to play games solo, where you play each
person's turn from his point of view, for most games. You can rather
quickly weed out the weaker ones, and know which ones are the better
ones you'd like to share with your friends.

It probably wouldn't be a good idea to share poor games with friends,
unless you explained that it's part of an effort to judge the quality
of fan-designed games, so that they'd understand that a poor design
doesn't reflect on the quality of pyramid games in general.

Now that my big crazy weekend has passed, I can definitively say:
Count me In! I have a couple fFellow players around me whom I can
enroll in playing new games. As well as solo-playing. When do we
start? =)
