Happy to play a teaching game of BTT, though I'm no master . . .

Sooooooo, are there folks willing to do a teaching game of Branches, Twigs, and Thorns for me? :D

So far I have hooked my buddy into playing Witch Stones and Penguin Soccer with me.  We tried Zendo but he accidentally chose a version without any visuals and the whole thing made zero sense to us.

I agree with everyone else that SDG is *the* place to learn and play Homeworlds (if you can't find F2F opponents).

But also check out Pikemen, Blam!, Martian Chess, Subdivision, Penguin Soccer, Volcano, Branches and Twigs and Thorns, Sprawl (and any other Icehouse games I'm forgetting) while you're there!

a
(nycavri if you want to challenge me to any of the above . . .)

I had luck having some folks on Super Duper Games teach me.  I actually started by getting another total rookie to join a game with me and we hashed out details from they.  Being forced to learn how  issue the commands on the site and such went a long way towards puzzling out the game.

Don Sheldon was also an enormous help to me.

Dude, you are *SO* talking my language!

Does anybody in Richmond understand how to play this.  I've read the rules a few times and haven't grokked it.  Maybe the next time I'm in the DC metro I'll just call the Emperor himself and challenge him to a game.  He'll be unable to resist! Mwahahaha!
