Not true.  Top-posting makes it arimpossible to tell what part of a message is being replied to.  I have been in many discussions where this actually causes major understanding problems.

As I was saying, I don't see a single advantage to top-posting, except perhaps saving one click.  Why do it?

Historical note: I don't ever remember top-posting back in my Usenet days.  I think it's a recent aberration, as people forget what the quoted text is there for...
