I understand your condition precisely. You want, if I may say,
columns and rows of colors easily available. Here's a suggestion.
Put 4 sets of pyramids in the alternating pattern in a cut down tube.
The remaining 5th set of pyramids goes into a separate mixed tube.
My OCD can't be dissuaded by simple number tricks--it KNOWS a stash is 15.
But I'm thinking that if I cut down the tubes, I might be able to fit them in the same box, in a different orientation. Hence the reason I got math to do. I'm also thinking that, cut down, they might fit in one of those soft-sided lunch box thingies (or a retro lunch box) which would be cool. Again, math to do.
I'll wait until I have my pink stash and new tube before I commit to a new storage solution. It might be the case that a simple rearrangement (not even cutting) could work out for me.
Thanks for your concern. Thanks. Thanks. Thanks. ;)
